1. Select File Type

Choose the type of content you want to encrypt/decrypt using the tabs:

• Image - For JPG, PNG, BMP files
• Text - For encrypting plain text
• Video - For MP4, AVI, MOV files
• Audio - For MP3, WAV, FLAC files
• Documents - For PDF, DOC, XLS, etc.

2. Upload or Enter Content

• For files: Click "Drag & Drop or Click to Browse" to select your file
• For text: Type or paste your content in the text area

3. Set Password (Optional)

Enter a password for enhanced security. If you leave it blank, we'll use a secure default password.

4. Process Your Content

• Click Encrypt to secure your content
• Click Decrypt to restore encrypted content

5. Download Result

After processing, click the download button to save your file.

• Use strong passwords with a mix of characters
• Remember your password - without it, decryption is impossible
• For large files, be patient as encryption takes time

1. Is my data secure?

Absolutely! All encryption/decryption happens locally in your browser. Your files and passwords never leave your device.

2. What happens if I forget my password?

Without the password, your encrypted data cannot be recovered. We don't store passwords, so please remember them.

3. Can I encrypt multiple files at once?

Currently, you can only process one file at a time. We recommend zipping multiple files together before encryption.

4. What file types are supported?

We support all file types - images, videos, audio, documents, and even text. The only limit is your browser's memory.

5. How strong is the encryption?

We use AES-256-GCM, which is military-grade encryption. It would take billions of years to crack with current technology.

6. Is there a file size limit?

Limits depend on your browser and device memory. Most modern browsers can handle files up to 2GB.

7. Do I need to install anything?

No installation required! paradoxcryptix works entirely in your browser.

8. How do I share encrypted files?

Simply send the encrypted file to your recipient. They'll need paradoxcryptix and the password to decrypt it.

Common Issues & Solutions

1. Encryption/Decryption Fails

• Ensure you're using the correct password
• Verify the file wasn't corrupted during transfer
• Check browser compatibility - use Chrome or Firefox
• Try a smaller file to test if memory is the issue

2. Slow Performance

• Large files take time to process - be patient
• Close other browser tabs and applications
• Try a different browser
• Clear browser cache (Settings > Privacy)

3. Browser Freezes or Crashes

• Your file might be too large for your device memory
• Try splitting large files into smaller chunks
• Update your browser to the latest version
• Restart your computer to free up memory

4. Download Doesn't Start

• Check your browser's download settings
• Disable any ad-blockers or security extensions
• Ensure you have sufficient storage space
• Try right-clicking the download link and "Save As"

5. Preview Not Showing

• Encrypted files can't be previewed - decrypt first
• Ensure you're using a supported file format
• Try a different file to verify functionality

6. Password Issues

• Case sensitivity: "Password" ≠ "password"
• Check for extra spaces at beginning/end
• Special characters: Ensure correct encoding
